so i bought an 03 lb7 out of a c4500 yesterday. while looking at the engine i did notice several things that were different than mine however they all seemed to be bolt on things. fuel filter on wrong side of motor, 2 oil fill tubes and dipstick on wrong side of motor. my biggest concern are the motor mounts as they are different but i remembered hearing any lb7 would work and the motor had low miles and the price was right so i bought it. has anyone ever tried this? i did a search and found a guy who tried to put a 2500hd 6.6 into a c4500 and the mounts wernt right but didnt find anyone who tried what i got. there must be a way. oh ya my truck is an 01 2500hd 6.6
