Hi, I wounder if you can and how much should the resistence be on my heater in the dieselfilter case model FM 100, on my Suburban 1994 6,5L.

The heating element is thermostatically controlled, usually activated at +20 degrees F or below. So, at warmer temps, the resistance will be infinite (meaning an open circuit). Bypassing the thermal switch should produce a very low resistance reading (meaning a nearly closed circuit).
