FINALLY! got my gauges installed

bought them while i was still in oregon, been in nashville for a year and finally found the time to get it done.

along with some assistance from my greatest helper :) :)

Wing Nut, good for you. Those are the three gages I want. What brand and where did you get them?

the boost is an eqquis gauge and was the cheapest they had at the parts store.

i would have all matching gauges but being a cheap brand they didn't offer the other two gauges.

obviously the tranny gauge is a b&m. cant recall the price on that but i want to say between 40 and 60. boost gauge was between 20 and 30 if i recall.

the EGT get spendy.

pyrometers can get up in the 250 range. i was lucky enough to find a universal JDM off of ebay for about 60 bucks.

aside from me putting in my cross pipe :rolleyes: instead of the passenger side exhaust manifold and not getting a reading yet, atleast it looks cool.


and if you have any kind of semi competant assistant like i did you can have all 3 gauges installed in a day.

that includes removing the plenum cover between the intake and turbo to drill and tap it.


it will take significantly less time than that (a few hours) if you get the turbo boost bolt from PMDcable.com (i think)

Thanks. That is as much help as anyone could ask. The only thing you left out was where you got that neat pillar mount.

the pillar mount i cant remember...i think it might be autometer but i would just get whatever you can find.

Wingnut, Got all my gauges here and am ready to start installing. Special thanks to you for the source information.

Where did you go to get your +power hookup that was ignition controlled? Where did you go through the firewall and did you take everything out the same hole or more than one port?

I go through Nashville twice a year so let me know where you are playing and I will try to drop by. End of January coming up. Hope you are killing them.
