6.2 pump return line problems ?

Anyone know what the pump return outlet is pumping into ? Does the pump see some normal back pressure and if so what is normal ?

Injection pump?

The injection pump return is combined with the injector bypass flow and piped back to the tank. No pressure to speak of. Any significant pressure would mess up the injection pump housing pressure control.

The return line has what I would say is a sizeable back pressure but I don't know iwhat the pump can tolerate. The tank selector valve works OK.
By the way, an unrelaed question_ I'm looking for a 1500, 94-98 with a 5 sp manual.

TI don't know iwhat the pump can tolerate.

Lift pump pressure is only 6-8 psi, so I'd think return pressure should be less than 1 ...
