I finally had a friend show up with his scanner to time the injector pump, thats when the trouble started. At the time of installation, the pump was adjusted in the middle of the slot. It started and ran fine while we sorted through all of the other adjustments and alterations these projects present. It ran a total of 4 hours with out missing a beat at idle or with throttle.
The scanner connected, the first reading was 13 degrees. The first adjustment was to move the pump towards the drivers side and take another reading that still read 13 degrees but the engine started running rough. Subsequent adjustments did nothing to improve the reading or the rumble. We could not get it to run as before by returning to the original position. The scanner is not picking up TPS or RPMs but the dash tach works. My questions is does the computer pick up RPM from the injector pump for the ECM and if so which plug or connector does the TPS?
There are no blown fuses and all connections are secure.
