I just replaced my glow plugs yesterday, AC9g after 115,000kl. 5 were dead, 2 tested ok, and one had hi ohm readings. I installed Kennedy quick heats. non of the old AC were swollen, but as soon as I found out that they were the 9g, I was a bit worried. Thanks for all the insite from erveryone here, especially Robin's advice to remove the passenger fender linner. Makes the job a whole lot easier. I had to remove the down pipe clamp from the turbo and loosen clamps on the exaust to swivial out of the way for access to the 2nd from the back glow plug. I had used anti sieze on the exaust clamps when I intsalled the system back in 06 so no big deal. I used anti sieze on the threads of the glows also. Took me about 3 1/2 hrs. Starts like a dream now with no / very little smoke compared to cycling my glows twice and LOTS OF SMOKE!!!!
