steering wheel control lights

I have 6 out of the eight lights in my steering wheel controls out, only 2 are working, how are these changed, this is the 3rd truck i have owned, and all have had lights out, must be a common problem, this truck is an `06 SLT GMC.

I think you have to replace the whole switch. If my memory serves me correctly, someone posted a long time ago about repairing those or maybe the heater control module lights with some tiny bulbs they had puchased from some type of electronic supplier. I'm sure they would have to be soldered in.
