I doubt that any specific 6.2 Diesel T.C. would make any measurable MPG increase. The truck would respond to a taller axle ratio. like a 2.73 .take into account the tire height/roll out when trying to increase MPG. A 700R4 trans with the lock up working could increase the MPG 5 to 7 MPG. depending on the axle ratio, weight carried. 30% less RPM in top gear is huge influence on MPG.
