6.2 and 6.5 diesels that we've had:
1982 C20 with the 6.2
1983 G20 with the 6.2 that formerly was a company vehicle used for official busniess usage by GM until my father took delivery of it
1986 Suburban C10 with the 6.2
1985 C30 with the 6.2

We also operate a fleet of School Buses on the P-chassis with the 6.5 NA, and in the past; operated School Buses on the P-chassis with the 6.2

I would love to have another 1982-1991 Suburban or K-Blazer with the 6.2, or a 1994-1999 Suburban or 2-door Tahoe with the 6.5

On the dark side; I would also love to have a brand new Ford Super Duty with the new 6.7 designed and built in-house by Ford
Also on the dark side; I would also love to have an Excursion with the 7.3, and an Econoline that would either be a conversion van or a stock passenger van with either the 6.9, 7.3 IDI, or 7.3 DI Turbocharged

nice selection of 6.2's ...and man those school buses must have been sluggish ?
and from what ive seen sure the 7.3l is a big powerful engine and its "rare" but its really a pile of rubbish it is horrible on milage and it really doesnt have as much power too it as it seems i dont know too much about the 6.7l but ...its still a ford....id rather drive a dodge gas burner and the ford trannys are a pile of crap....dad's kinda like the "backup" mechanic at the place he works when hes not trucking and they have something like a 02 f-350 with the 7.3lturbo'd and theyve blown through 3 clutches some poor milage and some power that is too weak to handle a trailer with a few medium sized culverts(so his boss is trying to find a f-550) same engine bigger truck have to take cab off to work on the engine=useless pile of found on road dead crap save yourself some time and get a 04-07 2500hd duramax cheaper more milage effecient powerful and reliable(07 classic cant stand the new designs of any model they are just plain dumb in my opinion and they arnt as powerful in the 08-09's because of the great government emissions....anyways theres my rant on fords and chevys

and p.s incase someone brings it up clutches goin out arnt always the tranny more than likely its the driver but we havent blown the clutch out of our old 4 speed/350 1978 heavy half gmc at the farm :D(a old rusty cow chaser)

Here's my list:

My dad started me out on diesels with a custom-built truck my grandfather made, sitting on a P-30 chassis with the 6.2L/TH400 combo he purchased new in 1983.

Myself, I started with a '77 Blazer that I swapped a 5.7L Olds diesel into, then later replaced it with a 6.2L.

'86 K10 6.2L
'86 C10 Suburban 6.2L
'81 C20 with swapped in 6.2L turbo diesel

And currently am driving the '95 Tahoe with the 6.5L.

I'd really like to find a 6.2L/700R4/NP241 combo to swap into the Jeep, but funds are pretty short right now.

It seems that once the GM diesel bug bites, it's hard to get rid of!! :D
