Hi guys and gals ;-)

I have a 700 r4 md8 & a TCI constant pressure valve body AND a transgo lockup kit.... so far so good! buuuut :

I read in the manual of the Transgo kit that I have to drill a hole in the valvebody and now I really ask myself if that is a good idea ?

I just don't want to trash my new valvebody by doing so.

Any ideas ? missy?

Thanks a lot!

Greetings

...or should I just resell the valvebody and keep the transgo kit.

If the transgo kit says to drill a hole somewhere then it needs to be done.

If you have another VB thats in good order, then install the kit in that one and put your new one on the shelf.

Transgo has a good reputation for good products and superior tech stuff.

I have used their kits in the 700R several times and they are great.

Hope this helps.

Hey Robyn,

thanks a lot, I think I'll just install the Transgo kit. Think I'll manage it to set up the TV properly.

Ok,

I solved this problem to.

Apparently these two aftermarket upgrades do not fit together.

The constant pressure valve body has no bore for a TCC lockup kit.

So, no use for a new valvebody.
