Allison Trans Problem

Newbie to the board with a Allison Tranny fluid problem.
2006 4WD 160,000 miles. Fluid changed within last 5,000 miles with no odd stuff in the fluid. The other day while driving at low speed started hearing a roaring or jet type sound from transfer case/transmission area. If you take out of OD the noise goes away...put it back into OD noise returns.

Any input is appreciated.

Did you change the spinn-on filter also, if not you can now without draining anything.Remember the factory magnet ring above the filter,clean and replace some that are new with the Allison trans miss the spinn-on.

Yep. Changed all the above.

Any other thoughts out there?
