Voltage issue's

Hi guys, I'm having a voltage problem with my 01.....I have replaced the batteries and the alternator twice now and they are still over charging (puking acid out and boiling) is there an external voltage regulator? if so were would I find it?

The alternator contains the voltage regulator.

Did this problem develop on its own or did it occur following replacement of the batteries or alternator? Are the battery cables connected correctly?
