94 oil pump- vs- 98 oil pump

Do you go with the 94 style pump, or

Move up to the higher volume 98 pump.

Opinions and experiances please.

Ditto on the higher volume oil pump. I did this on my 95 6.5 when the original oil pump started failing. The difference in size of these oil pumps is night and day. The 98+ oil pump maintains a more consitant oil pressure than the old one did. Its a direct bolt on, be sure to get the pump and screen from the dealer as one item, because the 98+ pump uses a different screen.
