My motor cratered when all 8 of the wrist pins failed. The rebuilder mentioned that perhaps the IP had the timing set wrong. I assured him that it was set by the dealer to specs. He said that the IP can be off at different RPM's if the advance feature doesn't work.
My question is: Should I be concerned about my IP RPM advance feature not working?
The pump has been professionally rebuilt and I asked the rebuilder if this was working and he assured me it was.
Any input?
