700r4 cooler lines, which is the output?

I'm upgrading to a new transmission cooler and am doing some rerouting of the lines. Which line from the transmission is the output? I think it's the line foward-most on the tranny, but I just want to be sure I am remembering correctly.

The 700r4 is in, and after I get all this done I'll do some more driving and post the results.

Just looked through my AT book and they dont tell which fitting is the outfeed. Just stick a short section of hose on each line, stick them in a bucket and have a helper fire the rig for just a second (tranny in N and park brake set)

Then you will know for absolute sure which one is the feed line.

Takes only a short time to do it that way.

Thanks for that idea. Sometimes the simplest solutions are overlooked.

The output for the tranny is the lower port.

Got it all back together and will make a test run during lunch today.
