Water temp sensor

Silly question. Where is the water temp sensor located on a 6.2. I can not seem to locate it in the service manual.:confused:

The one that runs the gauge is in the LH cylinder head near the front outer corner.

Now the one for "COOLANT TEMP" on later trucks is up in the water crossover near the front.

This is the one that the ECM is fed from.

88 DaHoooley crew cab is the old "Brick" body style and does not have an ECM
