2004.5 LLY If this was a gas job I swear it would have bad plugs or bad plug wires the way it acts. It will die and act like it is out of fuel just spinning over and not fireing. Unplug the fuel control (left front location standing in front of truck) Had a friend with a computer reader plug it in and claim there is no codes & plenty of fuel preasure. The #8 cylinder had a issue but friend claimed it was nothing. I had Injector/Software (Bosch) issue's when new but has been good for about 54000 miles.

When was fuel filter last replaced? Any chance that it was reinstalled without the o-ring, or the last o-ring left stuck in place, so it now has 2?
Sounds like air in the fuel delivery system to me.

I got way ahead of myself! When I unplug the the fuel control module (Left Front Standing In Front of truck) and plug it back in every thing runs fine! The longer I leave it unplugged the longer it runs fine!

I thought of that also we replaced the filter double checking all O-rings dosn't seem to be a air in the fuel line issue being all you have to do is unplug the fuel control and replug it back in and it starts right up!

There have been reports of problems with the electrical harness associated with the FICM (Fuel Injection COntrol Module) in other trucks. I'd take a good hard look at the wiring and connectors....

Yes, if it involves an injector harness at cylinder #2 or #7 (unique to 2004.5/2005 LLY).
