po045 trouble code

this particular patient is a 2005 gm topkick 5500 with the allison and 6.6 dmax. the problem started with regular driving then the trans just quit shifting and the rpms would not go over 2k. i messed around with the pto circuit and got it to the shop. i checked codes and found po045. this is problem with the turbo boost control solinoid or circuit. I had power to the solinoid so assumed the solinoid was at fault. I replaced it and still have the same problem...can anyone help

A dealer tech can perform a turbo vane position re-learn procedure to both test the system and to allow the computer to re-learn the vane position. This test will allow a tech to properly diagnose the problem. It may be that the vane mechanism is stuck, but you'll know when the re-learn position is performed....
