Thanks for your help in advance. I've heard about issues with the head gaskets and wasn't sure what years were affected.That machine has the LBZ engine. No head gasket issues that I am aware. That is the last engine of the non-emission era, of which would be my preference in the 2007 year model. I have one and it serves me well at 4,400 miles. Personally I am not please with a lot of the GM support but that is aside from the engine.

That LBZ powertain and body are my personal favorite for all around work trucks. I just wish they made truck stretchers as I'd like to stretch my 07 to match my 05 config...
