Steering Rattle

[NY Diesel]

My steering shaft has a rattle. It did this before and the dealer said that the inner and outter shaft required grease. Does anyone know where to grease this shaft?

This has been an issue with the GM trucks for a long time, and you'll find lots of reading about it here in this forum (do a search for the keywords "intermediate steering shaft").
