Trailer Wiring

Looking at my '01 2500HD and the wiring at the receptacle mounted just below the bumper. There is a nice wiring diagram on the receptacle cover, but what about the capped light blue
wire just short of that? I think it might be for reverse lights?!

The center pin in the 7 way connector is for the backup lights. The capped blue wire is the circuit for the CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Lamp) This could be used for the CHMSL on a topper, for instance.
