Just a quick question. Has anyone ever tried the pure power life time cleanable oil filter? I've run the amsoil duel filters and am thinking about switching to the cleanable filter. All of there ads seem O K. Any info will be concedered gospil as I trust you guys oppions.

The cleanable oil filters I've seen all used a fine mesh screen. I don't see how this could be as effective as a paper element.

If I were considering a cleanable filter, I'd be inclined to try the spinner offered by PPE (http://www.thedieselpageforums.com/adpeeps/adpeeps.php?bfunction=clickad&uid=100000&bzone=directlink&bsize=468x60&btype=3&campaignid=150585&adno=24&transferurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pacificp.com). This one is basically a mini centrifuge that spins out the particles onto the outer liner, which can then be cleaned and replaced.
