Fast idle

My fast idle is no longer working on my 2005 lly. Is there a way to enable/disable it? I dont have steering controls. My 2006 lbz can be turned on/off with the controls. I was just wondering if there was a "push the pedal 5 times and turn the key on" Or something like that. The fast idle sure helps with a cold warm up.

Try this:

Key on engine off.

Depress the accelerator to the floor and hold it.

Apply the brake 3 times in 8 seconds.

Release the accelerator and start the engine.

(Hope I got it right...)

This will toggle the feature on and off on the 2006 2500/3500 without DIC.

Or you could put your right foot in and your left foot out turn around and then shake it all about "Ha Ha"
Sorry I just had to do that, I remember our early trucks and even setting my edge levels like that with the acelerator pedal. I'm so glad now I just scroll down the list and turn on or off. But if it's any consulation, I even have trouble sometimes doing that.
Isn't this forum the Greatest! Every body here helps each other out there is always someone with past experinces that save us so much time and grief and not to mention money, by not making a costly mistake. Thanks to all of you.
