1988 3500 6.2L timing

He guys how long are the timing chains on these things good for , the 88 only has about 50000 miles on it but the water pump is gone so I 'm thinking while I'm at it I may as well do it unless it is good for a while yet .

I vote do it. 50K isn't much for the chain, but it's only going to benefit from the new one.
don't forget to buy a tube of anerobic gasket material...
