Duramax will not start

I am having a problem with my 2004 Silverado 2500HD - Duramax, 106K miles. The engine will not start. I believe it is the Passlok security system causing it not to start. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can it be by-passed? Is this a common problem.

In addition to my original post...I have heard of a grounding problem causing problems with the BCM. Could this be effecting the security system? Has anyone heard of this problem?
