Bilstein Shock issues

Has anyone had issues with the front shock, bottom bushing wearing out on their Bilstein shocks?

I have a 2002 D/A with the torsion bars cranked up and both front shock bottom bushings have worn out and the shock is loose on the mounting bolt.

Yes we have seen this happen. Sometimes on stock height trucks, but mostly on raised trucks. I've been supplying and suggesting shaft spacers for some time now. These are used to help relieve the stress on the lower bushings when the shock is at full extension.

I do have the yellow shocks, but is this necessary on the 5100's?

The yellows with spacers dimensionally match the 5100's.
