I have a 1/2 ton 1987 GMC 4x4 8' box that I'm doing a complete restore on, ie sandblasting the frame and rebuilding off that. I was thinking along the lines of air over leaf suspension, for example, air bags that I let the air out of the truck rides low, not lowrider but lower than stock, then fill the bags for a comfortable ride, loaded fill the bags more, and plow fill the front bags more. Could I do this? that is an air over leaf suspension on front and rear?
