I know this is like beating a dead horse, but I would really like to have both.
I towed my buddy's jeep (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=340535#) and I got 11mpg. I figured I should get better than that.
I would also like to be able to get more power (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=340535#) when towing.
My thinking was to get a new crossover (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=340535#) pipe and a 4" exhaust for starters.
Is a chip really worth it? Do you give up economy for power since there is more fuel being used?

All in All the jeep with dana 60s and 40s plus my trailer weighs in at around 6000lbs
1995 2500 suburban 4x4 F engine
-130 GPM water pump, 180ºT-stat, 21" fan
-Rebuilt IP with Relocated Dtech PMD #9 resistor
-IP and Starter replaced November 2009
