All,
Burb has starting on the better half at freeway speeds. I changed oil and Amsoil Filters as well as the Racor Fuel filter today, the Racor element needed changing. I ran the rpms up to better than 2000 RPM to get the oil distributed to the remote bypass and spin on filters. The engine would seemingly die and then return to life after the throttle was released. Seemed to cut out around 2000 + RPMs and then either die or stall but never quit I could reduce the throttle and it would hold around 1800- 2000 RPM range fine, pushed beyond and the stall/quit.
I checked fuel flow when I changed the Racor element and I was thinking lift pump, but priming the Racor it seemed to shoot a lot of diesel out the top vent from the lift pump.
Soooooo......
Not sure what's going on.
Anywhere to start looking?
