1993 6.5 non electronic engine vibration

Installed new crate engine from gm. also new injectors &glow plugs rebuilt pump, engine starts good power is good at idle the engine shakes at 1100 rpm it realy shakes higher rpms it smoothes down. the hotter the engine gets the more it shakes

Have you re checked the firing order? Could be a fuel line crossed.

Had the same problem on my '95.

After 63 days in the dealer shop they said it was normal.

after the 5yr/100k expired I replaced the VERY sloppy timing chain and it runs smooth as glass.

So, check the chain for play. With mfg tolerances of both the block, chain, and gears it is possible to have a chain that has too much slack which will cause the timing to change. Sort of like the spark scatter you used to see on the old gas motors when the chain was really bad.
