As my sig states,"totalled 10/15".Just recieved the check from insurance co,finally.My`92 has been dead-in-the-water for a while needing I/P,injectors,lift-pump,& glow-plugs.It finally stopped at 240,000.Now,rather than do these services,I`ll be swapping the"still fresh"motor from the`95(9mos old).I wanted to run the original motor as far as I could. But,it`ll have to be in another truck(on of my`72s).Since that`ll be a project,I decided to use the"hot-rod"motor in the daily driver.

What are the specs of the 'hot rod" engine?
My next project (among other things) is to install a new 6.5TD in my 1995 Suburban, I am in the brainstorming mode trying to figure out how much power I need and what it takes to make the power, and on a severe budget.

The motor is a crate 300hpMFI from Peninsular.So...18:1,Medium-duty(Switzer)non-wastegated turbo,Hi-pops,Peninsular`sDB2,`97+cooling,and later"round air filter/housing(-muffler w/custom 3"elbows&tube).Hadn`t gotten to an I/C,yet.You know,I have a timing-gear set,but Peninsular doesn`t use them and recommend not.That issue deserves it`s own thread.
