Truck shut of and restart

Started my 2003 Chevy duramax and ran for about 30 seconds, then shut off. Now all it does is turn over without restarting. Any suggestions?

Try pumping the fuel filter primer a few times. You may have gotten some air in system, especially if you just/recently changed the filter.

Just out of curiosity would one battery being dead have any affect on this issue? I replaced one a while back but not both.

it is never a good idea to replace 1 battery in a multiple battery setup, as the old ones bring the new one down to their level.
Have the injectors been done? if so check the wires at the engine connection plugs. had a similiar problem and foung 1 wire slipped out (and it was over a year later)
