2002 LB7 Injector rebuild

Laying this out there everyone..Can Duramax injectors be rebuilt by one of us? Replacing a new injector nozzle, shimming, etc? Or does it require calibrated machinery? If someone has done this sucessfully I would like to know how and what it took to do so?

Definitely not a job for the DIY guy. It's no longer a simple matter of putting in a new nozzle assy. There's a lot going on up top with the solenoid etc.

I'd also caution you to stay away from cheap remans as they wil certainly bite you in the ass. In order for a qualified shop to do a proper reman Bosch needs to release more parts than presently available.

Nozzles can be chaged but thats about it.
