I replaced the timing chain yesterday, everything went well.
I takes a while to get it done.

I wonder, after i replaced the chain the timing changed i bit.
i tried with the GMTD scan tech, but the desired and actual timing shows zero. TDC offset shows -0,18
And the injectors rattle. when tdc time set is activated.

If i acivate TDC learn the engine stops.

Is this because the timing has changed that much so the electronic cant adjust it and i have to turn the pump to get it closer then it is now.

I's suspect something else amiss, perhaps the crank position sensor isn't connected, or has failed?

( before i tried anything the desired timing was 8,9 \ actual timing 8,6 \ TDC -0,12)

I checked the crank pos sensor, it has connection, and the 5v, and 4v during cranking.

I moved the pump towards passenger side about 2mm, and then i got the actual timing to about 5.

Still when i try the Time set the values still go to zero.

With the actual timing at 5 i tried to acivate TDC learn, then it shifts to
-2.02 and engine stops.

When i start again it shows actual timing 7 \ TDC 2.02

Then i get code 88: TDC offset error
And stepper motor error.

When i drove home(5km) and checked the timing iwas back to 5
And the TDC was 0.

What is wrong....?
