Headed down to the parts store earlier to get a few items for the DaHooooley build.

Came out to the Burb and NO start.

Cranked and cranked and cranked, finally caught.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Ran home fine with not even a hicup.

Dropped the front skid pan down on the swing bolts and removed the PMD from the remote mount.
Installed a Known good one that came from DaHooooley when I installed a DTECH last summer.

Took maybe 15 minutes to swap the PMD.

My other thought is a possible failure to actuate of the Shut off solenoid due to heat.

If the no start happens again I will replace the solenoid.

The PMD was a used unit that I got "GRAB BAG" from the pump shop for $25

This used PMD had come from a pump that was rebuilt and was a standyne unit.

Likely I will install a DTECH before too long just to be safe.

Never know when these little gremlins will surface their ugly head.

Drove the Burb out on the road for 15 miles this morning and it runs better than it has in a long time.

Hmmmm I am now wondering if these PMD's do other wierd stuff.

Having seen a lot of these go bad over the years it has always been the general idea that they work of they dont.

The rig runs better with more power at less throttle pressure and idles smoother too.

Used the same resistor, (should not make a hill of beans with that)

Pulled the grades coming back in from town with noticeably less throttle.

The rig has always been a tad "Soggy" in hot weather.( more than one should see)

We shall see.

Noticed a major difference with my truck when I replaced the PMD. Starts
quick, loads more power and gets about 10% better mileage.
