hi all

is there a date yet on taking 2010 orders ?

looking for a 09 3500 but in my area all there is are duallies...

want a single axle...3500 w/dmax

or wait till order banks open i guess..

hi all

was at dealer today....seems a 2009 can still be ordered.. they put one together and awaiting call back from gm rep..

tentative order is 58U carbon black/blk int

couple, 3 questions

-the high idle switch option UF3, what exactly is that ? my current 2006 dmax slt ramps up in the cold but then idles down once warmed up. does the 2009 come with that option ?

- suspension package wise, what s the differance between Z71 or Z85 ?

- tranny wise, i see there s an option MW7 which is allison 1000, and MYD heavy duty allison...

i found these options after having alittle time reviewing the order configure sheet....

order was accepted thursday, but

no black carbon or any other metallic paints available,

only onyx black or white to finish 2009 build out..

the hd tranny option was for the 8 L gas motor which is no longer an option.

order should be locked for production on tuesday and get a date .

looks like 09 s will be produced well into september.

it s scheuduled to be built week of 8/17.

probally have it end of month , early september.

2009 slt cc longbox is in transit as of wednesday 8/19

little over a month now...that went fast :)

Wow, that was fast.

The last GM truck I ordered was ordered in the first week of Sept 94 and delivered in the second week of MARCH 95.

09 gmc dmax arrived at dealer 9/2 in the am, i saw it coming off the carrier, thats the 2nd time thats happened ! ! the 2006 delivery was caught also...

5 1/2 weeks from concept to driveway , not bad....well not driveway right now, getting rhino linear and a new camper topper...

thanks to the guys in flint for putting together a great looking truck ! !
