My '97 dually has a vibration and not sure where to start.
Tires - balance checked out fine
Rear Shaft - changed out the universals in the rear driveshaft, no changes.
I'm considering keeping this truck if I can get this one issue worked out. The vibration is bad enough to spill fluid out of a cup if its in the cup holder (even half filled), rear view mirror shakes so much its hard to see, etc. Seems like a high pitch vibration
One thing I thought of is the aftermarket wheels but other than that I'll be looking at the engine.
I'm concerned with the engine with all the discussions on the 6.5L dampener, etc. Where to start to begin troubleshooting the engine versus the truck itself? Revving at idle doesnt tell me much.
