2002 2500hd Fluids

I am putting a mag-hytec trans pan and a rear cover on the rear end. What synthetic oils would anyone reccomend? I have looked at Royal Purple, Amsoil, Redline, Valvoline, Lucas......anyone use any of these products? And how did they work? Synthetics are quite a bit more cash.....but everything I read says the truck will perform better........??????

Brand is more of a matter of preference than anything. Most supply good synthetic lubes. More important is the proper grade and weight. I use Amsoil, bumper to bumper. No issues, and worth it, IMO. The rear end REQUIRES synthetic, regardless of the brand 75-90 for normal/moderate towing/loading/climate, or 75-140 for heavy duty towing or very hot climate towing, and NO additives, locker or not.
