90 gmc n/a to turbo questions

I was thinking of putting a turbo on my 90 gm diesel it has a 99 6.5l rebuilt with about 60000 miles on the rebuild it has all the 6.2l injection system on it. i was wondering if anyone here has done this and what would be the best route to take i was thinking of maybe picking up a banks turbo set up for but i'm not sure if things will bolt up, i could also build my own system just not sure were to start. here is the list of mods i would like to do.
4 inch s.s. exhuast
turbo
dana 60 front axle
5 speed manual(has a turbo 400 right now)

The turbo would be a real plus.

Just be sure to dig up the right parts.

Is your truck (90) a pickup or a Burb

Pickups can use the stock GM turbo setup.
A 90 Burb will need a Banks setup for the older body style.

yeah its slow a turbo would help alot. its a 3/4 ton 4x4 long box ext cab i've been looknig for a gm turbo i just can't seem to dig up a good one yet

well got the turbo and exhaust manifolds for the truck now got a sweet deal on them too:cool: any ideas on where i hook the oil feed line up to on this turbo??????
