I have a 93 Chev 2500 4X4 with a cooked 6.5T. I have a very strong 6.2 from a 91 sitting in the garage that I would like to put into this truck. I am thinking of using the turbo from the 6.5 on the 6.2. I have all components from both engines and trucks available. To do this swap, what parts should I keep from the 6.2, and which should I use from the 6.5??

The 1991 6.2 is very similar to the 6.5T. If it has been a proper replacement engine, using the correct 1991 heads (or later) with the altered injector angle then it will work just like the 6.5T. Does it have the short body injectors?
I'd treat the 6.2 like a 6.5, but swap everything from the 6.5 onto the 6.2L.
Another thing to check would be to check for an oil pressure port for the turbo. Some 6.2 blocks had the pressure port, it's in the same spot as the 6.5 has it's pressure port. If it does, then your're home free. If not, you'll need to fab up a replacement pressure line for the turbo, getting pressure from the oil filter boss (there is an unused plug there).

The 6.2 does have the short body injectors. When you say swap the 6.5 parts to the 6.2, does that include heads, injector pump, fuel lines and injectors?

You'd treat the 6.2 like a long block engine, similar to a crate engine.
Leave the 6.2 in tact, just remove injection pump, exhaust manifolds, injector lines (to install turbo brackets for injection lines, mainly on turbo side). You will not need, nor want to remove the cylinder heads!
You can also opt for leaving the 6.2 fuel system on the engine, and just turning up the fuel rate about 1/4 turn. Do some research on the forum for more detailed explanations on turning up the fuel.
Did your 6.2 have the oil plug in front of the block (beside cylinder #1 (left hand bank, front, if looking at the engine with the front of it towards you)?

My 6.2 does have the oil port on the front. As for the heads, members on other threads recommend fresh head gaskets and bolts when turboing a 6.2. Is that necessary when using a factory 6.5 turbo versus an aftermarket turbo? As for using the entire fuel system and turbo from the 6.5 with the 6.2 heads, how much difference will there be in power and fuel economy with the 6.2 heads with the n/a precups versus the 6.5 heads with the turbo precups? This is my first experience with a turbo, as my other 6.2's and my 6.5 are naturally aspirated.
