Where are you buying the chip from? IIRC, they only used one pump for the 95 and later models, sounds fishy. Yours should be a DS4-5521 , unless yours is an oddball with a real early 95(with 94 parts). What date was yours built?

The number you need is on the Pumps ID tag

This little plate is on the IP towards the upper portion of the pump body and faces the rear of the engine.

A word of caution. Just because the rig is a particular year does not always mean it will have a particular pump

Some 95's have 5521's. My 95 has a 5067.

The numbers/letters off the paper tag on the chip itself (Plugged into the ECM) will also help to get the right performance chip.

Unfortunately the Ip's get swapped all around over the years as they fail and get replaced by dealers and various shops.

I thought the DS4831-5068 HD pump was only used in 94. The DS4-5521 was the latest upgrade of the DS4-5459, DS4-5288 and DS4-5067 as far as I know.

My 94 has the 5521, its been replaced, it should have had the 5067 originally.

Try to find some numbers on it, my pump has the number in two places, on the tag itself and there's a bar code sticker on the top with it on it, IIRC. I'll look if I remember to. I dont know if I can post pics here.

IP number should be above the injector lines. Sorry for the bad pic, camera phone and I didn't have a flashlight handy.

The HD pump used in 94 was the 5068
The 5067 was the Light and HD pump ??? and was siad to have roller issues.

My 95 3500 should not have a 5067 BUTTTTTTTTTT it does.

After these things get a buttload of time and miles on them, almost anything is possible.

As long as the chip is matched to work with the IP, all will work well.
