6.5 hp & torq help

96 chevy 3500 cheyyene, extended cab, lwb,... gm6turbo, stock truck, 4l80e trans... i'm looking at cheap ways to build hp and torq from my 6.5, without gettin into complacated things. can anyone help me?

Absolutely! Welcome aboard!

Think of this forum as a knowledge base. There is more info already archived here than you can imagine - and honestly, to start a whole new thread on this topic is just extremely redundant. Ultimately what you're asking is very common and sort of the "norm", as far as questions go. Nothing wrong with that - just means you'll be able to find of lot of info. I would suggest taking some time and using the "search" feature - it's in the blue bar near the top of this page. You can start with general search terms, then start to narrow it down. This will give you LOTS of reading material.

However, the basics are:
1) Open up the intake and exhaust
2) Increase cooling capacity
3) Add gauges - especially if you're towing/running it hard
4) Increase fuel, boost
