When to replace shocks? Some say within the first 5000 miles...
Bilsteins will serve you well, far better than the OEMs... $0.02
John has a special on them through this month if I recall correctly

I swapped-out my 2001 OE shocks for Bilsteins at 27,000 miles. Big difference (improvement) in ride. The Bills damp in both compression and rebound. The OE only in rebound. ;)

great...sounds like i got good advice..
when i get them on, ill come back here and comment on them.
The OEM shocks are bad out of the box! Don't know why they even bother. It'd almost make sense if they offered a Bilstein option, but they don't...
