Has anyone stuffed a 2003 LB7 into a car? I have seen other diesel conversions, but am interested in putting one into 1971 Buick Skylark.
I suppose there are many things to consider, and would appreciate input. I understand that a Turbo 400 could bolt up to the motor, but an Allison would be better, especially a 6 speed.
My thoughts are to take a donor truck and move all wiring and electronics over to use in the vehicle. More of a modern muscle car. I am not worried as to cutting up my Skylark for the Allison to fit, and even the Duramax to work.
I wouldn't have ABS braking unless that has to be used to make the system function. Input again would be helpful.
Thanks
