2006 Duramax Always Loud As If Cold

I just got my truck repaired from front end damage. It now ALWAYS runs as if it's cold. it's louder with that hollow intake sound and very slight vibration that used to go away when warm. Also it doesn't smoke as much when I floor the throttle. The local dealer put it on a scope and says it's normal. Any Ideas?

I'd be looking for anything that changed with the body shop work that would transfer more noise/vibration into the cab. Maybe they left off something with the intake, or didn't get it bolted/clipped back into place just right?

As for 'smoke' - neither of my 06's will create any visible smoke, under full accleration...
