Matching valves to ports?

The block and heads are going in for a good cleaning tomorrow. I'm dropping all the valves from the heads before they go in. The question is, the valves are all getting reground, do I need to put each one back into the port it came out of?

Good idea.
Get a box of zip lock sandwitch bags and a felt pen.

Keep the springs, shim/s keepers and such all with the valve and mark them so you can get them back in the same holes.

If you don't do the guides then this will make life easier.

Really hoping that work keeps flowing so I can keep this project moving.
I am going to be checking all the valves really closely for any problems. If there are any, then I will be going with new ones.
