ecoing or non ecoing?

The GMCtd scan comes with 2 settings in the menu. I had a computer tech come and I think he may have changed my settings. I know a diesel page member posted wich to use a few years ago, but I cant find it with the search feature. Would be much obliged if someone could tell me wich one they are using.
