'94 hard starting

1994, one ton dually, seems to crank alot hot or cold, before she fires off.. new inj. pump, pmd, fuel pump, and supposedly glow plugs, im thinking its draining fuel back and losing pressure? any ideas, thanks

Does it make any different if the engine block heater is used for 2-3 hours before attempting a start?

No, it can be either way, or at operating temp and sit for a little bit, maybe 20 minutes, wont start to easy after that

Did you ever solve the problem?

Just wondered, since I had a similar problem, that went away when I installed the Phazer timing gear set recently.
