I am gathering information on Medium Duty trucks that comes with hydraulic breaks. Do any of you own one or have access to a Medium Duty truck with hydros? I do not care if it is a Ford, GM, International, Mack, or what ever. I want to know about the breaking system and if it has rotors or drums and the lug pattern. I am interested in hydraulic disks on all four corners and the component break down. Photographs would be a huge help as well. I also would like to know about a good online source I can get price and availability from. Oh, and feel free dumb it down for me.

My 2004 C4500 had air assisted hydraulic brakes, disc on all four corners. Excellent system, and got ~110K miles on before replacing the rear pads only...they are HUGE, thick beasts.
Can't tell you much more than that...stop by your local GM Medium Duty dealership they could tell you more about the system.
What are you planning to do?

I am trying to figure out what parts would work for a conversion I want to do when I get home. I was hoping to have th eparts waiting for me by then. Do the rotors slide of the studs on that truck? What is the lug pattern?

No worries. You did give me another lead though.
I can't help on the "medium-duty" part, but my Barth motorhome has HydroBoost hydraulics, and discs at all four corners. The rear axle is a Dana 80, and the hub has to come off to remove the rotors, which is a double pain because I have wet rear bearings.
One thing many med-duty trucks have is stud-piloted wheels, where the studs take the load, as opposed to hub-piloted, where the hub takes the load. The front brakes are easier, since they're on a dry (grease lubricated bearings) hub.
Brakes are Dayco all around.

Thanks man. That is a big help. What lug pattern does your RV have? The next time you pull the tires can you get me some photographs? You just gave me a great lead.
Then wheels are 6-lug Budd 19.5. Unfortunately (with any luck), the wheels won't be off again for awhile, since I just had the rear brake pads and shocks replaced. I did replace a whell some time ago, and have the old one laying around. However, this lug pattern is relatively rare.

Is there any way I could get the lug measurements from you? I think you may have just salved one of the problems I am facing.
