My glow plugs won't turn on and I have no fuel. In testing my pink wires (what controlls most of that) I tested the ground for my fuel solenoid (engine shut off solenoid). It was getting 6.something volts from the computer. Cut off the wire in front of the computer thinking it was a short in the wire loom, and the computer is sending it 6 volts. Is my computer ground shorted against a hot, or what could be going on? Looking through the wire schematics, I can't find anything.
Any help would be appreciated. It's a '94 2500 manual.
The PCM controls the ground side of the solenoid. One wire on the silenoid should be 12 volts and the other side grounded through the PCM when the key is on.

yeah, I know. the pink is 12 volts, the blue and white (ground) is getting 6 volts from the computer, I just can't figure out why.
When the PCM grounds it the 6 volts should disappear. When the solenoid is connected and it is not grounded it should be at 12 volts. When it is "floating" (not grounded and not connected to the solenoid) the voltage is meaningless.
